  1. When and where will the 2025 Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens be held?

    We are excited to confirm that Kai Tak Stadium will be staging our HSBC SVNS World Championship event from 17–19 April 2026.

    The address is located at 38 Shing Kai Rd, Kai Tak.
  2. When can I buy tickets?

    The rugby community will be able to register for tickets at local rugby clubs in Hong Kong from 1 October. Also in October, overseas fans will be able to purchase travel packages from our travel partners.

    The general sale will open in November - register for more information.
  3. Which teams are coming to the Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens?

    30 teams will participate with 12 men’s and 12 women’s teams featuring across the HSBC SVNS World Championship, with 3 men’s and 3 women’s teams in the Melrose Claymores invitational competition.

    The Hong Kong China teams will participate at the 2026 Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens.

    Men’s SVNS: Argentina, Australia, Fiji, France, Great Britain, New Zealand, South Africa, Spain, alongside an additional four qualifying men’s teams.

    Women’s SVNS: Australia, Canada, Fiji, France, Great Britain, Japan, New Zealand, USA, alongside an additional four qualifying women’s teams.

    The Melrose Claymores will feature regional teams in the 3rd edition of this invitational tournament.
