CATHAY PACIFIC/CREDIT SUISSE HONG KONG SEVENS 2008
PUBLIC TICKET SALE

[HONG KONG, October 4, 2007] - The Public Ticket Sale for the Cathay Pacific/Credit Suisse Hong Kong Sevens 2008 will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2007, at the Hong Kong Stadium in So Kon Po. The Cathay Pacific/Credit Suisse Hong Kong Sevens 2008 will be held from March 28-30, 2008.

As in years past, tickets will first be assigned to all Hong Kong Rugby Football Union (HKRFU) Member Clubs to ensure their members are given priority for tickets and to encourage the continued growth of local rugby.

The public will have an opportunity on December 8 to buy tickets for the Sevens. Ticket sales will be limited to two tickets per person. More details on the Public Ticket Sale will be announced in mid-November 2007.

"We received a lot of feedback from people at the ticket sale last year. We believe limiting the number of tickets sold per person will enable more people to enjoy greater access to Sevens tickets," said Mr Allan Payne, e xecutive director of the HKRFU.

The two tickets can be a combination of Adult's and Children's tickets. Children's tickets are limited and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Ticket prices for the Cathay Pacific/Credit Suisse Hong Kong Sevens 2008 are HK$1,080 per adult for the three-day tournament. Children's tickets remain HK$300.

"Ticket prices have been raised to cover the increasing costs of staging a world-class Hong Kong Sevens tournament. Hotels and flights have all gone up and the teams now arrive in Hong Kong earlier for advanced preparations. We want to make sure the tournament stays the very best of all the tournaments in the Sevens World Series," Mr Payne said.

The HKRFU have again appointed official travel agents for the event and Cathay Pacific, the official airline of the Hong Kong Sevens, will also be supplied tickets for its overseas travel packages. The list of agents officially promoting the tournament around the world can be found on www.hksevens.com. Tickets will not be available on the Internet.

The public ticket sale will be held in conjunction with the HKRFU Sevens Festival and Union Sevens to entertain ticket buyers and showcase the strength and skill of community rugby in Hong Kong. The event will start at 9.30am with Mini Rugby exhibitions, followed by Colts and Tertiary seven-a-side rugby matches. In the afternoon, senior clubs will take part in the 1st Division G4S Union Sevens with the top teams in Hong Kong battling it out for the title. Admission to the public ticket sale and the Sevens Festival is free of charge.

More details on the ticketing policy and procedures for the Public Ticket Sale will be announced in mid-November 2007.
