- The Hong Kong Rugby Football Union today announced the latest update to the queue process for the Cathay Pacific/Credit Suisse Hong Kong Sevens Public Ticket Sale at the Hong Kong Stadium on Saturday, December 8, 2007:
By request of the Hong Kong Stadium management and the Hong Kong Police and in the interest of public safety, the Stadium gates will be opened once the public ticket sale queue reaches 1,000 people or more. Otherwise, the gates will be opened from 10:30am.
While members of the public ticket sale queue will be admitted and seated inside the Stadium to ensure public safety and the greatest comfort for potential ticket buyers, members of the public are reminded that tickets will only go on sale from 11:00am.
No tickets will be sold before 11:00am.

Public Ticket Sale Guidelines
- 5,000 tickets have been allocated for the public ticket sale on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at the Hong Kong Stadium
- Ticket Sales will begin from inside the Hong Kong Stadium at 11:00am, no event tickets will be sold before 11:00am
- The Stadium Gates will be opened to admit members of the queue from 10:30am
- By request of the Hong Kong Stadium management and the Hong Kong Police and in the interest of public safety, the Hong Kong Stadium gates will be opened once the public sale ticket queue reaches 1,000 people or more
- Upon entering the Stadium, each member of the queue will be given a special queue number place card and seated by Stadium stewards based on their order in the queue
- The Stadium Diamond Vision screen and public address system will be used to call members of the queue when their turn to purchase tickets arises; Stadium stewards will then escort members of the public to the relevant ticket sale kiosks
- No tickets will be sold without the presentation of BOTH:
- A valid Hong Kong or Macau SAR ID Card or Passport
- An official queue number place card
- Each person in the queue can purchase a maximum of two (2) event tickets in any combination of Adult & Children's tickets
- 3-day Adult event tickets are priced at HKD1,080 and Children's tickets are priced at HKD300
- 3Children's tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis
