Last year's Bowl champions will be back determined to go one better and opponents will ignore them at their own peril. The strong-running and physical Canadians will hope to resurrect the form they showed eight years ago when they pulled off a stunning upset over favourites Fiji in Hong Kong. After losing its core status on the series a few years ago, Canada will be eager to prove that they deserve their spot back. Winners of the Plate in 1995 and 2003, they have been left feasting on the lesser Bowl competition - winning the last two - in recent times and will be relishing the opportunity to eat from the Plate.
